Who we are

The Benevon Weblog has been up and running since September 2005. The purpose of this blog is to celebrate contribution and abundance in the world and to share our observations about the expansion of philanthropy. The Benevon Model is designed to end the conversation about scarcity and suffering in the nonprofit sector, and this blog furthers our philosophy on the inherent generosity in the world.

This blog is run by a team of people who help make it relevant and interesting. They include: Terry Axelrod, founder and CEO; Alan Axelrod, President; Stephanie Nelson, vice president; Lisa McCune, publications editor; Dawn Grant, IT & facilities supervisor; and the Benevon coaches and instructors.
